Elders, Deacons, & Staff

Elders

Jesus has given pastors/elders as gifts to know, feed, lead, and protect the church. These are the men our congregation has recognized as elders according to the qualifications in Scripture.

Caleb Brasher

— Elder —

 Caleb (M.Div. Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary) was born and raised in West Monroe, Louisiana. He and Lia have three kids, Millie, Jack, and Brooks. Caleb is a contributor at For the Church and 9Marks. He loves Mississippi State, great movies, and anything excellent.

Cass O’Rear

— Elder —

Cass was born and raised in Cass County, Texas. He holds a Master of Theological Studies degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Lauren, have been blessed with two happy and energetic little boys. They recently moved to Florida after spending over 13 years in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Cass enjoys reading, watching and playing sports, traveling, learning about other cultures, and all things food.

Clint Saxon

— Elder —

Clint was born and raised in Watertown, Wisconsin. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Clint recently moved to Florida after pastoring in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Clint enjoys good stories, good food and spending time with his wife, Abigail.

Martin Orcurto

— Elder —

Marty attended Capital Bible Seminary in Maryland where he met his fabulous wife, Joni. He has served in many pastoral/elder roles in Maryland and Virginia. He also worked for 15+ years in the defense industry. He currently is working as the Director of Operations for Good News Global. He enjoys spending time with his family and building things for them. His passion is to teach and disciple others to see God’s steadfast love and faithfulness.

Ryan Entwistle

— Elder —

Ryan was raised in Kenya, Africa as a missionary kid. He attended John Brown University prior to serving in the Marine Corps. He married his childhood friend, Melissa, and they have worked at a church plant in Tulsa, OK, and with Muslims in Africa. They are thankful to call the Grove and Clermont ‘home’ where they are raising their three children.

Derek Baas

— Elder —

Derek was raised in Hattiesburg, MS. After graduating from Mississippi State he moved to Raleigh, NC where he met his wife, Kimberlee. Derek works from home as an HR Decision Scientist for Disney and in his free time enjoys the outdoors and all things soccer. Derek and Kimberlee have been married since 2015 and have three kids.

Steve Van Dyke

— Elder—

Born in California, Steve moved to West Orange County at a young age and has lived in Lake County since 2001. A Florida Gator, professionally he is a Doctor of Physical Therapy.  He has a love of adventure sports, saltwater fishing, men’s ministry, and Theology discussions. He and his wife Mari have been married since 1997 and have 5 kids and three grandchildren.

 Deacons

Deacons are servants who oversee specific practical areas inside the life of our church. They absorb the shock created by the day-to-day life of the church as they implement the ministry established by the elders. These men and women have been recognized as deacons by our congregation according to the qualifications in Scripture.

Garrett Wood

Music Director

Garrett is an Orlando native but has only called the area home since he and his wife, CeCe, moved here from Georgia in 2016. Garrett is a dad to Elliott, Foster, Elise, and Margo and enjoys geography, all things Mississippi State, and good conversations.

Mandy Bild

— Connections Director —

Mandy was born and raised on a ranch in rural South Dakota.  Craving city life, she moved to Chicago and met her husband, Nick. They moved to Florida in May of 2016. They have two children, Luke and Grace. Mandy loves the Lord, The Grove, and helping people grow in their love of the Lord and one another.  

Craig Rosier

— Facilities Director —

Craig is a native Floridian who works as an IT Pharmacist for AdventHealth. In 2007, he married his wife Shannon and they have two children, Cody and Ellie. Craig was raised in the church but really developed a heart to know and seek God in his mid-20s. He enjoys listening to audio commentaries and reading his study Bible. In his spare time, he works on home improvement projects.

Jenny Wagner

— Ordinances Director —

Jenny is a native Floridian who married her high school crush, Roddy. They have nine children. Although born in the city, she is a farm girl at heart and enjoys being outdoors with her kids and chickens. She has an appreciation for classic cars and old books, but her true passions are God, her family, and biblical counseling. Like the apostle Paul, she is most grateful for God’s grace, “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.”

TJ O’Donnell

— OPS Director —

T.J. is originally from Indiana. He and his wife, Amanda, were married in 2004 and have 3 daughters. They have been part of The Grove since 2020. TJ works in real-estate.

Kimberlee Baas

— Missions Team Director —

Born and raised in Northern California, Kimberlee studied at California Baptist University before moving overseas as a missionary/ESL teacher in Southeast Asia. There she realized a need for more training which led her to study at a seminary in North Carolina. During her studies there, she met her husband Derek. She loves being at home with the kids, homeschooling, enjoying nature, reading, hiking, and other cultures.

Joni Orcurto

— Church Secretary —

Joni considers herself a Marylanadian (Canada by way of Maryland). In Maryland, she attended and met her husband Marty at Washington Bible College. They finished homeschooling their four daughters and are looking forward to this next stage of life in Florida. Her desire is to help other young ladies flourish through a solid foundation in Scripture and a love for their Saviour.

Chris Ferris

— Safety Director —

Chris and his wife, Brenda, are from West Virginia. A few years ago they moved to Clermont and began attending The Grove along with their daughter Olivia and her husband Lucas. They were recently blessed with their first grandchild who captures their joy. When not serving his family, Chris serves as a chaplain for other ministries.

Caleb Brasher

 Caleb oversees and directs the staff as well as serves the primary teacher at The Grove.

Cass O’Rear

— Associate Pastor of Administration —

In addition to general pastoral duties, Cass oversees administration at The Grove.

Clint Saxon

— Associate Pastor of Discipleship —

Along with his pastoral responsibilities, Clint oversees discipleship ministries at The Grove.

Garrett Wood

— Music Director —

Garrett gives particular attention to our music, production, and youth ministries.

Bradley Allen

— Pastoral Resident —

Bradley comes to us from West Point, Mississippi. A graduate of Mississippi State, he moved to Clermont after completing his M.Div. at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. Bradley enjoys watching, playing, and talking about sports as well as reading books and watching movies.

Joni Orcurto

Joni manages the church office and assists the pastors and staff with a variety of administrative duties.

Bo Hutchens

— Church Planting Resident —

Bo was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in numerous places as the son of an Air Force officer. He met his wife, Trudy, while they both attended Florida State University (Go Noles). After 12 years of working in recreation for the Navy, Bo served for over 4 years as the Lead Pastor of a church in South Georgia. He and Trudy have seven homeschooled children ranging in age from 12 down to 2. They are excited to serve the Lord by replanting a church in Montverde in September of 2026.

Iris Wagner

— Ministry Intern —

Iris was born and raised in Florida. She is the middle child of 9 children. She loves water sports and anything outdoors. She started attending The Grove about 2.5 years ago. She has a passion for serving the Lord especially through youth ministry specifically encouraging and helping younger girls grow in their faith.

Ethan Green

— Ministry Intern —

Ethan grew up in Ocoee, Florida. He has been serving as a church musician since 2018 and has been at The Grove since 2022. He enjoys the outdoors and exploring anywhere from rural towns to large cities. He is currently studying meteorology at Mississippi State University online.

Danielle Nottke

— Assistant Grove Kids Director —

Danielle was born in North Carolina. She considers herself a Floridian between growing up here as a kid and then moving back in 2018 from Georgia with her husband, Kaleb. They have one daughter and a golden doodle. Danielle enjoys the outdoors, Disney, and spending time with her family. She has always loved kids and her desire is to help guide little hearts to the Lord.
