Another way to form community is through serving. When the people of God are willing to serve, the Spirit of God works through them to change lives. Whether helping with audio production, opening a door, or teaching in one of our kids’ rooms, when you serve, life change happens.
The following ministry teams offer opportunities for you to build community and serve the church.
Which one will you join?
Ops
Since we are a portable church, everything we use on Sunday is packed into a trailer and stored for the week. Then each Sunday morning a team of people shows up early and stays late to unload, set up, tear down, and pack up all of our equipment. If you like to work with your hands and serve behind the scenes, this is the team for you!
Grove Kids
This is one of the most important ministries at our church. It is a privilege to partner with parents to help their kids become disciples who know, treasure, and obey Christ. There are a number of ways to serve with Grove Kids: teaching, helping with check-in, assisting a teacher, or rocking a baby.
Connections
At The Grove Church we’re a family and we want our guests to feel welcome when they visit. The Connections team makes sure we give a good first impression to our guests and helps visitors get connected to what God is doing at our church. From greeting at the doors to setting up donuts to ushering, there’s plenty to do in this vital ministry.
Worship and Production
This team plays a critical role each week leading people in worship during our Sunday gathering. If you play instruments, sing, or enjoy working with sound, slides, or technology, this team is perfect for you!
