 — Core Values —

Gospel Centered
Our curriculum takes kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. We believe the gospel should be the foundation of every lesson we teach and is the driving force behind our ministry.
Our priority is to provide a physically and spiritually safe place for kids to learn about Christ. All leaders must complete a volunteer application and are thoroughly background checked. We are intentional to not only offer a physically safe location for kids to learn, but also an environment that is safe and secure for kids to ask big questions as their faith grows.
Our desire is for all kids to have real, authentic faith and a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. Authenticity calls for working through real life issues kids may be facing and teaching them that Jesus is there through it all. We want our kids to develop a genuine faith they can lean on as they grow.
Our hope is for Sunday to be the best day our kids have all week! To do this, we pack our time together with exciting activities, games, and music that will engage our kids from the moment they walk in the door. All kids have unique needs and interests, so our curriculum includes a variety of activities that illustrate and reinforce the Bible lesson.
Our ultimate goal is to partner with and provide resources for parents to lead their children spiritually. No one has more impact on a child than his or her parents and we believe what happens at home is even more important than what happens on Sunday morning. We are committed to working with parents to help their kids become disciples who know, treasure, and obey Christ.

 — What To Expect —

How do I check my children in?
When you arrive at The Grove Church, look for the Grove Kids check-in table. Every Sunday morning one of our volunteers will be there to greet you and your children and help you with the check-in process. For first time guests we will collect basic information such as your phone number, child’s allergies, and any special ways we can help serve their individual needs.

As part of the check-in process you and your child will receive stickers with a unique identification number. This security sticker is just one method we use to ensure a safe and smooth check-out procedure. If you need additional stickers to mark your child’s belongings, please ask the check-in volunteer!

After check-in, please walk your child to his or her designated classroom. One of our Grove Kids or Connections volunteers will be glad to help you find their room.

What will my kids do on Sunday morning?
Your children will play with one another, sing together, read Bible stories, and enjoy a fun and interactive lesson taught by our dedicated volunteers. See below for the specific class details.
Where do I pick up my kids?
After service you will pick your child up at their classroom. Each class is marked by a sign. If you have trouble finding a class let one of our volunteers know and we’ll happily help you out.
For your child’s safety you will be asked to show your security sticker to one of the Grove Kids volunteers. They will match your sticker to the child’s sticker before releasing them.
How do I know my kids are safe?
We take your child’s safety very seriously. In addition to our secure check-in and check-out procedures, all of our volunteers are trained and undergo background checks.
Grove Kids volunteers can be identified by their t-shirt or name badge.

— Age Groups —

Nursery (Infants and Crawlers)
Our littlest ones are important to us! Our volunteers are loving people who will provide a well-supervised and engaging environment for your child. We believe that even at the youngest age, kids can learn how much God loves them!
Toddlers (Walkers - 2 years)
We love our sweet, curious toddlers! Our toddler room is a safe and loving environment where your child can play with friends, explore the world, and discover our big and loving God.
Preschool (3 - 5 years)
Our preschool class is an interactive environment where children learn about God through Bible stories, games, and crafts. Each month our preschoolers learn new and important truths that are the foundation for authentic faith.
Elementary (K - 6th grade)
As our kids grow older we have new opportunities to engage them in gospel-centered teaching. Although elementary kids will still be engaged in fun activities, exciting games, and themed crafts, the focus will be on who God is and how much He loves them.
